Torah
At Sar Shalom synagogue, we are committed to living a Torah-true life centered on Messiah Yeshua the living Torah.
The Torah is the Law of Moses, the Word and Will of God; Divine Wisdom. It is the Holy Scripture and the tool with which HaShem created the Universe. Ultimately, the Torah became flesh and dwelt among us. We observe the Torah because we are a kingdom of priests and a holy people. (Ex. 19:6)
Avodah
Avodah is a Hebrew word that means worship, prayer or service. Avodah is a pillar at Sar Shalom synagogue. We are passionate about being a house of prayer for all peoples and being a community dedicated to God's service. In Judaism, the highest form of worship is imitation. As talmidim (disciples) of the Messiah, we strive to serve HaShem by imitating His example.
Chesed
Chesed means love, kindness, compassion and mercy. The Sages said that chesed is one of the three pillars upon which the world stands. At Sar Shalom synagogue, chesed is our heartbeat. With God's help we strive to be a community of people who focus on grace, charity, tikkun olam, judging others favorably and helping others to succeed.

We are a vibrant Jewish community centered on Yeshua the Messiah, made up of people just like you, who have passion for G-d, Yeshua and an authentic lifestyle of faith. Many who find their way to Sar Shalom often times come from the Christian, Messianic or Hebrew roots congregations and are those looking for much deeper teaching, a spiritual walk that is more authentic to that of the Messiah or those who just sense that "something" is missing from their faith. If that is you, then this is the perfect fit! Our heart yearns for a revival of the original faith of Messiah and we seek to live as the Messiah truly lived!
